Trick or Treat!

Adyson was so cute dressed up like Peincess Leia. The boys are so into Star Wars right now and so she thought she would join in the fun.
Here is my little Darth Vader (posing again!). He loved being the bad guy of the night.

I didn't realize Obi Wan Kanobi was so little. He looked so good. And he loved the fact that we put a beard on him. He kept telling his dad, "Look I have a beard just like you!"

Our cute little cowboy. We finally got Cameron to put on his Woody costume. I though since he loved Toy Story he would wear this, I was wrong. He finally put it on the second before we went Trick or Treating. I know it has nothing to do with Star Wars, but he looks so cute!

Halloween Party

Wednesday we had a Hallween party at my Mother-in-laws house. The kids had a blast! Cameron is missing from the photo because all the kids were doing one thing, so he had to do something completely different.
Braiden decided to pretend that he bobbed for this apple. He didn't however. He just picked one up from the bucket and put it in his mouth. What a nut!

Gavin caught an apple though. I told you he likes to pose for the camera.

Adyson caught an apple too! She was the first one and she did awesome!

Here is Cameron doing his own thing. I told you, if you can tell there are no other kids around. He just walked around by himself the whole time, or he would wrestle with Daison.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins on Tuesday night. It was quite the experience. At the last minute a guy called about the puppies and came out to look at them. So I ended up doing most of the work. Here is our finished product. They don't look like that anymore, actually they look like they were carved about 2 weeks ago.
Cameron was more interested in the DS than carving his pumpkin. However he couldn't be left out of all the fun. He sat at the table the whole time playing the DS.

My brother Colby and his wife Amanda stopped by and I took advantage of Colby. I let Amanda off the hook this time because she is pregnant, but I will get her next year. (LOL) Colby was very helpful. Thanks Colb.

Braiden and Adyson did so good cleaning out their own pumpkins. I love that Adyson is old enough to do things on her own and she is awesome with helping her brothers.

Gavin was really good at cleaning out his pumpkin too. He always has to pose for the camera. I just love my cute little family.

LOOK WHO'S 2!!!

I can't beleive my baby is 2. Daison keeps telling me that he is not a baby anymore, but I just can't accept that yet. He is my last one so I baby him a lot more than I should.
He was so good all day long. He got tons of Toy Story toys. We gave him the remote control car from the movie, it is pretty cute. Braiden keeps taking it away from Cameron, I just love how when a little boy gets toys the older kids won't let them play with them at all.
My brother's family gave him the slinky dog from Toy Story. It is the cuteset thing I have ever seen. Gavin is the one who keeps playing with it. I think it is because there is a slinky in the middle and he really wants one of those. We didn't get a good picture of him blowing out his candles, because my camera sucks! I'm so mad. I need to invest in one of those before the holidays start. Hopefully, I can get a good picture at my In-laws house on Monday night.

The Key To A Happy Cameron

Yes, I Know what you are thinking, "What kind of mother am I?" Well one that needs her sanity. Cameron loves to watch movies. His favorites are Lion King and Toy Story 1 & 2. If I need a minute I will put on one of these movies so that I can do what I need to do. He will even lounge on the bed or couch while he is watching. It is pretty funny. Sometimes he will even get under my covers. What a nut!
It is to the point that he can even put on a movie for himself upstairs in my room. He will walk up turn on the TV and start the movie. I can't believe it he is only 2 and he can put on a show for himself. He is one smart cookie when it comes to electronics. Anyway this is pretty much how his days go especially now that the kids are back in school.

School Time For Everyone!!

I can't believe school has started. It is a nice break from all the fighting. Adyson is in 3rd grade now. She is getting so big. We think she has a crush on her teacher. It is pretty funny to see her talk about him.
Gavin is in 1st grade now. It is crazy to think that he goes to school all day long. I think he really likes it. He loves to learn. I love to see that!

Braiden just started Pre-school today! It is fun to see him so excited to go to school and be a big kid like Adyson and Gavin. He didn't even cry. He just walked right in to school and didn't look back. One more child left, and I'll be home alone.

BEAR LAKE 2008!

We just got back from Bear Lake and the kids had a blast! We left on Thursday and got back on Sunday. It was nice to relax. Daison took the kids fishing one night, they didn't catch anything, but Adyson told him that he needed to take untangling lessons because the fishing line kept getting tangled up. The kids were awesome. They never fought, and did exactly what they were asked to do. We ran across a couple of mermaids on the beach. It was unbelievable! They really are beautiful creatures! I think we are going to go back again.

THE JAZZ BEAR!!

We went and met the Jazz Bear last night! It was so much fun. My sister-in-law has started a dance studio up in Ogden and she had the Bear come for the fall sign-ups. She used to be a Jazz Dancer so she has connections. I thought my kids would have a ball meeting the Bear. He is pretty fun. I also had to get a picture of my brother working at the hot dog stand that they had there.

Adyson's Baptism

Adyson was baptized on July 5, 2008. It was the best day! I am so proud of her for choosing to be baptized, and I know that she is a very good example to her brothers. It was a great feeling knowing that your child is on the right path for returning to her heavenly father. Of course I was crying like a baby, but it is hard to watch your child grow up and start making decisions of their own. We found her dress at Little Things Mean A Lot and I tried to tell her we could look in a few stores for her dress, but she wanted this one. When we got home she told me that she liked this dress because it had a lot of beads on it and there were tons of buttons down the back. She was really cute that morning we got her she put her dress on and when she started walking down the stairs she started humming "Here comes the bride"! It was so funny. She thinks her dress looks like a wedding dress. All I can say is she is exactly like me! I have a feeling her wedding dress and wedding are going to be really expensive. Oh well I told her she can't get married until she's 30, we'll see how long that lasts.

Spring Has Officially Sprung!!

I know for sure that spring is here. We signed Adyson, Gavin and Braiden up to play soccer again, and my life just got totally hectic. As most of you know Adyson is taking Ballet. She has class 2 times a week and then they have recitals 2 times a year. It is now time for their Spring Recital and not only does she have class, but on top of that we now have to add 1-2 more classes for the rehearsals. And now we have soccer on top of that. We get to do the ultimate juggling act. Now we will have ballet 2-4 times a week, Soccer practice for all three of the kids, we don't know exactly which days those will be on, and Saturday mornings we will have Soccer games. When I say Saturday morning, I pretty much mean from 9:00 to about 12:00 or 1:00 Saturday morning. Last year there were quite a few games that Adyson and Braiden played at the same time. So Daison and I would each watch one of them and at half time we would switch. From the look of it, this year is going to be the same. I love Spring because it finally warms up, okay maybe not this Spring, but usually. However I have officially turned into the true SOCCER MOM!!! (Boy I hope I can survive this one.)

DISNEYLAND!!

We were able to take the kids to Disneyland. It was so awesome! We were there for 3 days. I think Daison would say we were there too long, but I think we weren't there long enough. The kids loved it. I can't wait until we go back again. Hopefully soon!!

Gavin becomes a Jedi

Gavin was trained to be a Jedi. He had a ball! He was so serious and listened really well to the teachers. He fought Darth Vader, and he wasn't even scared. I thought he would take off running, but he didn't. He received a certificate after he fought Darth Vader. It was so neat to watch him.

We had to get a picture in front of the "A" at California Adventure. You know "A" for Adyson, at least that is what we told her.

MEDIEVAL TIMES

Everytime we go to Disneyland we go to Medieval Times. It is the best thing to watch. The kids love how they get to see the Knights fight. They ride horses and duel each other. While you are eating dinner you cheer for your color of Knight. It seems that everytime we go we are always in the Blue section cheering for the Blue Knight. And the Blue Knight usually wins, however this time the Yellow Knight won, so my kids were kind of bummed about that. But in the end they had a blast!

THE BEACH!!

We went to the beach for the kids. It was cold for a while, and then it warmed up a bit. We were able to watch a lot of people surfing. It was pretty fun!

These two got pretty wet. But we just let them have fun and made them change their clothes before they could get in the car.
If anyone knows Braiden they know that he doesn't like his hands dirty, his clothes wet, needless to say he is a little obsessive compulsive. I think Cameron is going to be the same way. Braiden got the bottom of his pants a little wet and we had to change him. Cameron, wasn't sure about the sand, until Daison took off his shoes and then he didn't want to leave.
